The PL640 uncooled infrared polarization camera uses a domestic uncooled 640 infrared focal plane detector, a high-performance infrared lens and a signal processing circuit, and is embedded with advanced image processing algorithms. It has the characteristics of small size, low power consumption, fast startup, and excellent imaging quality. The device selection fully considers the requirements of high and low temperature working performance to ensure that the whole machine has excellent environmental adaptability.
Infrared polarization imaging technology can distinguish man-made objects from natural objects by using the difference in polarization. This is because natural objects generally do not show polarization in the long-wave infrared band (except water). As for man-made objects, due to the smoothness of their materials and surfaces, most of them have partial polarization to varying degrees. Infrared polarization technology can easily distinguish the target (man-made object) from the background (natural object) by the difference in polarization.
